The 3M SS 316/316L forged pipe fitting is a 1/2" hex head plug with NPT male threading. All fittings are engineered according to ASTM/ASME A/SA182 and ANSI B16.11 specifications. These Class 3000 fittings are available in various sizes and shapes, making them suitable for diverse industrial applications including chemical, petrochemical, power generation, and OEM manufacturing industries, as well as other environments where vibration, high pressure, or extremely corrosive conditions exist. The socket weld material is preferred over threaded fittings in most applications because it provides a completely sealed line, eliminating all possibilities of leakage.
