The 3M SS 316/316L forged pipe fitting is a 1-1/2 x 1" hex bushing with NPT male and female connections. All fittings are engineered to meet ASTM/ASME A/SA182 and ANSI B16.11 specifications. The Class 3000 fittings are available in various sizes and shapes, making them suitable for diverse industrial applications, including chemical, petrochemical, power generation, and OEM manufacturing industries, as well as other scenarios where vibration, high pressure, or extremely corrosive conditions are present. The socket weld material is significantly more popular than threaded options, as most applications require completely sealing off a line to eliminate any possibility of leakage.
