The 3M SS 304/304L forged pipe fitting is a 1 x 1/2" reducing coupling with NPT female connections. All fittings are engineered to meet ASTM/ASME A/SA182 and ANSI B16.11 specifications. Class 3000 fittings are available in various sizes and shapes, making them suitable for a wide range of industrial applications, including chemical, petrochemical, power generation, and OEM manufacturing industries, as well as other applications requiring resistance to vibration, high pressure, or extremely corrosive conditions. Socket weld materials are preferred over threaded options, as they provide a complete seal, eliminating the potential for leakage.
