The 3M SS 304/304L forged pipe fitting is a 1 x 1/4" reducing coupling with NPT female ends. All fittings are engineered to meet ASTM/ASME A/SA182 and ANSI B16.11 specifications. These Class 3000 fittings are available in various sizes and shapes, making them suitable for diverse industrial applications, including chemical, petrochemical, power generation, and OEM manufacturing industries, as well as other environments where vibration, high pressure, or extremely corrosive conditions are present. The socket weld material is significantly more popular than threaded options, as most applications require completely sealing off a line to eliminate any possibility of leakage.
