The Merit SS 316 barstock half coupling features a 1/4" NPT female thread and a plain end, constructed from high-quality class 1000 stainless steel forged fittings. These fittings are designed for use in a variety of industrial applications requiring high pressure performance when used with schedule 40 and schedule 80 pipe or pipe nipples. The forged construction eliminates porosity, ensuring durability and reliability in critical applications where the possibility of leakage or failure must be eliminated.
