FrogTape® 225 Gold is a performance grade medium-high adhesion masking tape designed for use in moderate temperatures, specifically suitable for the transportation and metal fabrication industries. This tape operates effectively in temperatures up to 225°F for up to 30 minutes, providing a user-friendly masking solution that ensures consistent paint lines and clean removal. It features excellent adhesion to various surfaces, including metal, rubber, plastic, and fiberglass, while being resistant to water, various solvents, and gel coats. The tape is designed with clean, flat edges for sharper paint lines and is highly conformable, making it ideal for rounding curves and contours. It is easy to unwind and offers residue-free removal. Additionally, it boasts UV resistance for up to 3 days and features a strong, smooth crepe paper backing that is tear- and sliver-resistant, utilizing a rubber-based adhesive without PaintBlock® technology.
