To reverse the hinge, simply remove the cap, push out the cam, replace the cam on the opposite side of the strap, and then replace the cap. The strap features a hex hole that accommodates the stem from the flange, with the number "1245" cast on the strap and the number "1248" cast on the flange. The hinge is constructed from flush offset die-cast zinc and is polished with a chrome plating for a sleek finish.
