The filter design traps 98% of foreign matter, thereby protecting the blower system and motor. Constructed from rust-proof aluminum, it features a rugged yet lightweight design. This product is approved by the N.Y.C. Bureau of Standards & Appeals under Cal No. 10-60 SM and meets the requirements of NFPA standards No. 90A & B, although it does not conform to NFPA 96 standards.
