Its design effectively traps 98% of foreign matter, protecting the blower system and motor from damage. The filter is rust-proof and features rugged yet lightweight construction, making it a durable choice for kitchens. It is approved by the N.Y.C. Bureau of Standards & Appeal, Cal No. 10-60 SM, and meets the requirements of NFPA standards No. 90A & B, although it does not comply with NFPA 96 standards.
