This filter is recommended by insurance companies for its sanitary design, which allows for easy cleaning and maintenance, ensuring efficient airflow. It effectively traps 98% of foreign matter, thus protecting the blower system and motor. The filter features a rust-proof aluminum construction with a rugged yet lightweight design. It is approved by the N.Y.C. Bureau of Standards & Appeal, Cal No. 10-60 SM, and complies with NFPA standards No. 90A & B, although it does not meet NFPA 96 standards.
