The kit includes a new style GM52 motor type, designed to operate at 115V and 60Hz, featuring a grey metal cooling fan, a commutator with a diameter of 1.1 inches and a height of 0.7 inches. If customers currently have this style in their unit, they can replace it with the motor only. The new style motor and PC board are designed for compatibility, and if customers are replacing the old style motor M362, which is now obsolete, they must also replace it with the new style motor and PC board model #68-1196, as old style and new style parts are not compatible. The new style motor is available separately under part number #68-1197, and the new style board only is available under part number #44-1366, which can be used with Hamilton Beach models 94900 and 94950.
