The Safety-Silv 45 brazing rod is a flux-coated product measuring 1/16" x 18" and is available in a quantity of 9 tubes, packaged in a 4 oz pack. This general-purpose brazing alloy, often specified for government use, demonstrates excellent ductility and capillary flow. The color of the rod ranges from silver to light yellow, with a composition of 45% silver, 30% copper, and 25% zinc, while being cadmium-free. It is particularly effective for brazing dissimilar metals, and for copper to copper applications, it is recommended to use item #26-4311.
