The 3M™ Green Corps™ cutting/grinding wheel 55989 measures 7" x 1/8" x 5/8-11 and is a Type 27 ceramic wheel with 24 grit. It features proprietary 3M™ ceramic grain that delivers very high cut rates on a wide variety of metals. The wheel is designed for safe grinding with the outer face and cutting with the edge of the same wheel. Its applications include edge beveling, edge chamfering, flash removal, gate removal, grinding, pipe cutting, plate grinding, right angle grinding, rod cutting, weld removal, and finishing.
