3M™ 60440196271 Stikit™ Cloth Disc Roll 341D features 100 adhesive-backed aluminum oxide discs, each measuring 5" in diameter and graded at 80 grit. These discs are designed for applications such as blending, deburring, grinding, and sanding on flat areas, suitable for both metal fabrication and primary wood and panel processing. The heavy X-weight cloth backing, combined with a resin bond, ensures prolonged disc life under high heat and pressure conditions, while the fast-cutting aluminum oxide grain provides quick and efficient cutting performance across various substrates. The 3M™ Stikit™ backing allows for easy attachment and removal from the backup pad, facilitating rapid grade changes. Aluminum oxide is well-regarded for its durability and self-fracturing properties, maintaining fresh cutting edges longer than traditional natural abrasives. The discs come ready to use with a pressure-sensitive adhesive, eliminating the need for additional liners, and they are designed to be used with a separate 3M Stikit backup pad.
