The kit features a smooth 12 gauge steel top reinforced with angle iron on the underside and gussets in the corners for exceptional strength and rigidity. The legs and lower braces are constructed from 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 3/16" thick angle iron, with legs equipped with 2" square footpads featuring a 9/16" hole for mounting to the floor. These all-welded units ship fully assembled and ready for immediate use, with an overall height of 36". The surface includes a 1/4" hardboard attached directly over the 12 gauge steel top, which helps to deaden the sound of heavy blows and metal-to-metal contact, providing a more forgiving surface to help protect parts.
