The butcher block top is 1-3/4" thick, designed to help deaden sound and absorb impact, and is replaceable, attached to an all-welded steel frame. The half lower shelf is constructed of 12 gauge steel with a 3" high lip at the rear. All-welded units ship fully assembled and are ready for immediate use. The workbench is available in both fixed and adjustable options, and features an optional factory-installed locking drawer measuring 13"W x 17"D x 4-1/2"H, mounted on the right side.
