The forged hoist hooks are quenched and tempered, featuring load-rated swivel hooks designed with a proper structure for maximum strength while minimizing weight and bulk. The low-profile hook tip is compatible with Crosby S-4320 or PL-N latch kits, and even years after the initial purchase, latch assemblies can be added. Each hoist hook is marked with deformation indicators, strategically placed to allow for a Quic-Check® measurement to assess any change in the throat opening, signaling potential abuse or overload. Additionally, angle indicators denote the maximum included angle permitted between two sling legs, enabling approximations of other angles as needed. The hooks hold type approval certification per ABS 2016 Steel Vessel Rules and ABS Guide for Certification of Lifting Appliances 2016. Certification documents are available upon request at the time of order, which may incur additional charges.
