The forged hoist hooks are quenched and tempered, featuring load-rated swivel hooks designed for maximum strength without excessive weight and bulk, thanks to careful forging and precision-controlled quenching and tempering. They incorporate a low-profile hook tip made to utilize the Crosby S-4320 or PL-N latch kit, which allows for the addition of latch assemblies even years after the original hook purchase. The hooks are marked with two Quic-Check® features: deformation indicators with strategically placed marks for measuring potential throat opening changes, indicating abuse or overload, and angle indicators that denote the maximum included angle allowed between two sling legs. Type approval certification is available in accordance with ABS 2016 Steel Vessel Rules and the ABS Guide for Certification of Lifting Appliances 2016. Certificates can be provided upon request at the time of order and may incur additional charges.
