The forged hoist hooks are quenched and tempered, featuring load-rated swivel hooks, which are designed for maximum strength with minimal weight and bulk. They incorporate a low profile hook tip compatible with Crosby S-4320 or PL-N latch kits, allowing for the addition of latch assemblies even years after the original purchase. To aid in safety and compliance, the hooks include Quic-Check® features with forged markings that serve as deformation indicators, positioned strategically to measure throat opening changes, indicating potential abuse or overload. Additionally, angle indicators are present to show the maximum included angle permissible between two sling legs in the hook, while also enabling the approximation of other included angles. The hooks comply with Type Approval certification per ABS 2016 Steel Vessel Rules and the ABS Guide for Certification of Lifting Appliances 2016, with certificates available upon request at the time of order, which may incur additional charges.
