The most complete line of shank marked hoist hooks is available in capacities ranging from 3/4 to 300 metric tons. Each hook features a hook identification code that is marked directly into it. All carbon and alloy hooks are quenched and tempered for enhanced durability. The hooks can be constructed from carbon steel, alloy steel, or bronze, with a design that ensures maximum strength while minimizing weight and bulk through careful forging and precision-controlled quenching and tempering. Each Crosby shank hook comes with a pre-drilled cam that can accommodate latch assemblies, which can be purchased separately. Latch assemblies can be added to the hooks even years after the initial purchase. The hooks are type approved in accordance with ABS 2016 Steel Vessels and the ABS Guide for Certification on Cranes, with certificates available upon request at the time of order, which may incur additional charges. Additionally, the patented McKissick split-nut retention system is available for added security and reliability.
