The kit includes a forged, quenched, and tempered hoist hook that features load-rated swivel hooks designed for maximum strength while minimizing weight and bulk. The low profile hook tip is compatible with Crosby S-4320 or PL-N latch kits, which can be added to the original hook years after purchase. Each hoist hook incorporates markings forged into the product that provide two Quic-Check® features: deformation indicators, which consist of two strategically placed marks that allow for a quick measurement of throat opening changes indicating potential abuse or overload, and angle indicators that indicate the maximum included angle allowed between two sling legs in the hook, as well as the ability to approximate other angles. The product is type approved in accordance with ABS 2016 Steel Vessel Rules and ABS Guide for Certification of Lifting Appliances 2016, with certificates available upon request at the time of order, potentially incurring additional charges.
