This 100"-wide hydraulic shear is designed for cutting 8-foot sheets without trimming, making it suitable for various applications. It features a robust ground and polished steel plate frame that ensures quality cuts at full capacity, accommodating a maximum capacity of 10 gauge mild steel and a minimum capacity of 24 gauge mild steel. The shear is powered by a 7.5 HP motor that operates on 220-volt 3-phase power, while its industrial-grade hydraulics provide smooth movements that prolong blade life, achieving up to 22 strokes per minute. The adjustable 24" back gauge allows for repeatability, and the front support arms and table guides help keep the material square to the blade. The operator console includes three modes: Inch mode for jogging the control, Single mode for one cut cycle per foot pedal push, and Auto mode for continuous cycling while holding the pedal down. Standard features include high carbon chromium blades with four shearing edges that can be turned to extend blade life. Hydraulic hold-downs securely clamp the sheet to the table to eliminate material lifting and improve blade life. The fully welded steel construction prevents flexing and maintains accuracy over the years.
