The MDC-1800 metal dust collector from Baileigh Industrial is designed specifically for efficiently collecting chips and burs in metalworking applications. This cyclone-style dust collector features a powerful 3HP motor that operates on 220V single phase power and produces an impressive airflow of 1450 CFM while maintaining a quiet operation at 85dB at full power. The unit includes a heavy-duty metal drawer for easy collection and cleaning of heavy chips and larger dust particles, along with a fireproof bag to capture additional particles from the air. Additionally, a fireproof filter ensures that expelled air is free of remaining contaminants. Other key attributes include three 4" chutes for connecting various machines and portable casters on the main body for easy maneuverability throughout the shop. The MDC-1800 is not intended for use with surface grinders and is built for durable, effective performance in a metalworking environment.
