The heavy-duty downdraft table DDTM-4840-HD is designed for small shops requiring an efficient production table while adhering to air quality regulations. It features a 48" x 40" working area and comes standard with essential equipment such as a HEPA filter, fire-resistant cartridge filter, spark arresting metallic pre-filter, Magnehelic gauge, hinged side walls with back wall, work light, auxiliary 110V and air tool outlets, a 12" overhang, casters, and leveling feet. The table is CSAUS listed and provides 100% tool-free cleaning and filter maintenance/changes. It includes an air pulse cleaning system that allows users to clean the cartridge filter simply by shutting off the machine and pressing a button when flow is restricted; this system uses an internal air tank to backflush the filter, allowing work to resume promptly. The downdraft table operates under OSHA decibel limits, negating the need for hearing protection, and includes a HEPA filter, which is now a requirement for equipment venting into occupied spaces. Fully assembled upon delivery, it has a maximum load capacity of 1543 lbs (700 kgs) evenly distributed over 80% - 100% of its surface, with specific concentrated contact surface weight limits outlined for varying distributions.
