Kynar® 740 is an engineering thermoplastic that combines the stable characteristics of a fluoropolymer with mechanical strength, abrasion resistance, and high purity. Kynar® 740 PVDF sheets and rods exhibit excellent chemical resistance, UV radiation resistance, and low permeability, making them suitable for applications in the semiconductor, pulp and paper, pharmaceutical industries, as well as in nuclear waste management and chemical and food processing. The sheets feature a double-masked surface, fully traceable and verifiable resin, chemical resistance, and UV stability. The dimensions of the sheets are 4 x 8 ft, with thicknesses ranging from 1/8 to 1 in. They meet tolerance consistency per ASTM D6713-01 and have combustibility approvals by FM 4910, UL2360, and ASTM E84. Kynar® is a registered trademark of Elf Atochem.
