This is an MTD and Yard Machines replacement part directly sourced from the manufacturer for use in tillers. The shifter is made out of metal. A screwdriver, a set of pliers, a socket set, and a wrench set may all be required to replace this item if it becomes broken. This part is available individually and is compatible with the Jet JSM-7572 3/8" reversible drill, JSM-8272 1/4" air screwdriver with adjustable clutch, and JSM-8472 1/4" air screwdriver with positive clutch.
