Insultherm is an extremely high temperature resistant sleeve designed for thermal protection of wires, cables, and hoses exposed to continuous extreme high temperature environments, such as engine manifolds and exhaust systems. This product is braided from fiberglass yarns and saturated with high temperature resins, enhancing its stability and reducing irritating fiberglass dust during cutting and installation. The tough and durable sleeving maintains its tight structure under extreme vibration, abrasion, mechanical stress, and temperature variations. Insultherm is available in a variety of diameters and can withstand heat in environments up to 1,200°F. It cuts cleanly with scissors and installs easily over various applications, either to deflect or retain heat.
