The Wheaton® Microliter Assembled Kit includes a 4ml clear vial, a black phenolic solid cap, and a PTFE liner. These screw thread autosampler vials come fully assembled, with the septa pre-installed inside the cap and the cap securely screwed onto the vial, ready for immediate use. Manufactured from Type 1 borosilicate glass, the vials feature dimensions of 12x32 mm and are equipped with black phenolic screw caps (13-425 solid top) with a PTFE liner, specifically designed for liquid chromatography applications. Cleanroom cleaned microliter vials are assembled in a Class 10,000 clean room to prevent chromatographic errors, and each vial undergoes rigorous testing for critical physical dimensions and chemical cleanliness to ensure low residue levels. The result is a reliable product that provides optimal performance and reproducible results. The packaging of the assembled kits is designed to eliminate particulate contamination during transportation, although the final packaging is not done in a clean room. This product carries a warning regarding exposure to chemicals such as tetrafluoroethylene, which are known to the State of California to cause cancer, in accordance with Proposition 65.
