The DURAN® YOUTILITY bottle is designed from clear borosilicate glass and features a graduated design with a GL45 neck finish, accompanied by a cyan colored screw cap and pouring ring, with a nominal volume of 1000ml. This innovative bottle series includes an ergonomic shape and dedicated accessories that enhance handling, sample identification, and usability, making lab work safer and more efficient. Each bottle comes as a complete system including a pouring ring (PP1) and a GL45 cap (PP1). Constructed from graduated borosilicate 3.3 pharmacopoeial type 1 glass, the bottle provides a special grip design on both sides for improved handling. The updated thread design allows for quicker opening and closing, ensuring compatibility with DIN GL45 closures and various accessories. Its slim shape is optimized for limited spaces in autoclaves and laboratory refrigerators, while a pre-defined labeling area accommodates optional self-adhesive YOUTILITY bottle labels, with a clearly marked nominal volume on the graduation scale. The bottle offers good chemical and high-temperature resistance. Optional replacement GL45 YOUTILITY screw caps, identified by part # DUR-292292802, are made from food-grade polypropylene (PP1) and have an ergonomic design with grooves and ridges for easier handling, especially beneficial for smaller or gloved hands. The cap features a faster opening and closing thread compatible with DIN GL45 bottle threads and incorporates an optimized sealing system that ensures a liquid-tight seal. Additionally, colorful silicone GL45 bottle tags (part # DUR-292432904) are available to securely attach around the neck of the YOUTILITY bottle, enhancing identification and utility. The product is autoclavable, adding to its versatility in laboratory settings.
