Wheaton® high recovery vials are available in 1 ml (0.03 oz) amber type I borosilicate glass with a 13-425 finish. These vials feature a smooth and clear bottom, eliminating grinding during manufacturing to reduce potential particulates. Designed for maximum retrieval of contents by syringe or micropipette, the vials have a conical interior bottom and are suitable for small-scale reactions, centrifugation, storage, and shipping. The clear vials are made from 33 low extractable borosilicate glass, conforming to ASTM type I, class A, and USP type I requirements, while the amber vials are manufactured from 320 low extractable borosilicate glass compliant with ASTM type I, class B, and USP type I standards. They are utilized across biochemical, pharmaceutical, and radiochemical industries, and are applicable in various techniques, including anaerobic reactions, derivatization, micro mixing, catalytic hydrogenation, extraction, packaging, centrifugation, homogenization, radiosynthesis, concentration, and hybridization. The vials have a non-graduated design with a screw thread finish, and closures are sold separately.
