The Wheaton® Microliter assembled kit includes a 20ml amber vial, a white polypropylene open top cap, and a bonded PTFE/silicone septa. These screw thread autosampler vials are provided in fully assembled kits that are clean, sealed, and ready to use, with the septa installed inside the cap and the cap securely screwed onto the vial. The vials are manufactured from Type 1 borosilicate glass, measuring 12x32mm, and feature an amber coloration with a white polypropylene cap that includes a bonded 0.100" PTFE/silicone septa, designated as DWK # 24-00101W, which is suitable for gas chromatography. The microliter vials are cleaned and assembled in a Class 10,000 clean room to eliminate chromatographic errors, ensuring that critical physical dimensions and chemical cleanliness are rigorously tested to prevent trace levels of residues. This meticulous process results in identical, clean, and dependable vials certified for optimal performance and reproducible results. The packaging is designed to prevent particulate contamination during transportation, although final assembly packaging does not occur in a clean room. Additionally, a warning is provided that this product may expose users to chemicals, including tetrafluoroethylene, known to the state of California to cause cancer, as noted under Proposition 65.
