The Kimble® Kimax® volumetric flask is designed to contain liquids, featuring a graduation ring blasted on the neck and calibrated for accuracy with a marking spot on sizes 10 mL and larger. It is supplied with a 28160R high-density polyethylene stopper that fits standard taper ground necks, and an enlarged top on the stopper provides additional protection for the neck in the event the flask is tipped over. This flask is manufactured from 33 expansion, low extractable borosilicate glass, ensuring conformity to USP Type I and ASTM E438, Type I, Class A requirements.
