The DURAN® HPLC Port Cap System features a GL45 pressure plus bottle with a 4-port cap and a capacity of 1000ml, designed for the safe and sterile transfer of media or solvent feeding to HPLC instruments. This system allows for serving three stations simultaneously from a single container, with the fourth port designated for sterile pressure equalization. It accommodates tubing with inner diameters of 1.6 mm (1/16") and 3.2 mm (1/8"). The kit includes one DURAN pressure plus laboratory bottle, one 4-port screw cap, four threaded tubing adapters in black, M8 silicone blanking seals for unused ports, and connectors for tube diameters of 1.6mm and 3.2mm. The DURAN HPLC bottle features a special geometry conforming to ISO 4796 and exhibits pressure/vacuum resistance from -1 to +1.5 bar, having undergone safety testing as per EN 1596 and received TÜV-GS certification. The port cap, made of PTFE and polypropylene, can be autoclaved with the bottle without disassembly. Optional silicone seals serve as septa for the addition of additives, and the enclosed system minimizes the release of toxic gases and reduces evaporation of valuable substances. The screw cap is compatible with the standardized ISO GL 45 thread, and the bottle is constructed from DURAN borosilicate 3.3 glass, ensuring excellent thermal performance and high resistance to chemical attack. The industry-standard GL45 DIN thread, blue ceramic graduations, and permanent, durable labeling field enhance usability, and the bottle is autoclaveable/sterilizable to 121°C, with manufacturing traceability provided through lot-specific information.
