Kimble® Kimax® Le Châtelier Class-A serialized specific gravity bottles are designed for determining the specific gravity of cement, sand, and other fine materials in accordance with ASTM C188. The bottles are engineered to hold a 64 gram sample and have a capacity of approximately 250 ml. The smaller neck bulb of the bottle holds 17 ml, while the neck below the bulb is graduated from 0 to 1.0 ml, featuring two additional 0.1 ml lines above and below this range, with a tolerance of ±0.05 ml. The neck above the bulb is graduated from 18 to 24 ml in 0.1 ml intervals, also with a tolerance of ±0.05 ml. Durable white enamel markings are provided with a unique serial number. The replacement stopper is catalog number 850100, designed as per ASTM specification E694 and complies with C188 standards. The bottles are constructed from 33 expansion, low extractable borosilicate glass, meeting USP type I and ASTM E438, type I, class A requirements.
