The Kimble® KIMAX® serialized burets are designed for repeat titrations that require traceable volumetric accuracy. Each buret is supplied with a certificate of graduation accuracy and features precision ground tips to assure uniform outflow. They are permanently marked with an individual serial number traceable to NIST standards and include a self-zeroing mechanism. The burets are equipped with a self-lubricating PTFE stopcock plug, a filling tube, and an overflow tube located at the top, which accept 1/4" ID flexible tubing. The easy-to-read durable black enamel scale has a replacement 2 mm bore size, and the three-way stopcock is model 41530F-2. These burets are designed according to ASTM E287, Class A requirements, and manufactured to the specifications of ASTM E694, while being calibrated to meet the accuracy requirements outlined in ASTM specification E542. Constructed from 33 expansion, low extractable borosilicate glass, they conform to USP Type I and ASTM E438, Type I, Class A standards. Please note that this product can expose users to chemicals such as tetrafluoroethylene, which are known to the State of California to cause cancer, in accordance with Proposition 65 warnings.
