Kimble® Kimax® volumetric flasks feature a standard taper stopper with a single graduation ring blasted on the neck, calibrated to contain a standard taper ground glass stopper, and include marking spots on all sizes. The replacement stopper is 850100. Sizes 5 ml and larger are designed in accordance with ASTM specification E288, class A requirements, while the 1 and 2 ml sizes are test tube-shaped and calibrated to E237 tolerances. These flasks are manufactured from 33 expansion, low extractable borosilicate glass, conforming to USP type I and ASTM E438, type I, class A requirements.
