Used in the chemistry, pharmacology, food and beverage, and starch industries, these dual scale, plain form hydrometers measure specific gravity/relative density (g/cm) of liquids lighter and heavier than water in various ranges from 0.700 to 2.00, and Baume in various ranges from 10° to 70°, or choose the universal model to span all ranges. The hydrometers feature lead-free ballast and glass, are individually serialized, and have a temperature standardization of 60°F (15°C). They are hand inspected by our U.S. quality team and packaged with a multi-language (English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish) statement of accuracy indicating accuracy traceable to NIST. Note: hydrometers should be stored in a clean, dry, safe place, and should not be subjected to extreme temperatures.
