Used to determine proof of ethyl alcohol spirits, these hydrometers are available in various ranges from 0 to 206%. They measure 300mm (12") in length and feature a lead-free ballast and glass construction that complies with the Bureau of Internal Revenue, U.S. Treasury Department standards. The tolerances for these hydrometers adhere to those outlined in Circular 555 of the National Bureau of Standards, with each unit individually serialized. The temperature standardization is set at 60°F (15°C), and each hydrometer is hand inspected by our U.S. quality team. The product is packaged with a multi-language statement of accuracy in English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish, indicating accuracy traceable to NIST.
