Available in a variety of models measuring Baume of syrups and other liquids heavier than water in various ranges from 0° to 70°, these plain form hydrometers are used in the chemistry, pharmacology, food and beverage, and starch industries, among others. Each hydrometer measures 300mm (12") long and features a lead-free ballast and glass construction. They are individually serialized and come with a temperature standardization of 60°F (15°C). Each unit is hand inspected by a U.S. quality team and is packaged with a multi-language statement of accuracy in English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish, indicating accuracy traceable to NIST. Note that hydrometers should be stored in a clean, dry, safe place and should not be subjected to extreme temperatures.
