Used in the chemistry, pharmacology, food and beverage, and starch industries, these dual scale plain form hydrometers are designed to measure specific gravity/relative density (g/cm³) of liquids lighter and heavier than water, covering various ranges from 0.700 to 2.00, and Baume in ranges from 10° to 70°. Alternatively, a universal model is available to span all ranges. Each hydrometer features a lead-free ballast and is made from individually serialized glass, ensuring quality and traceability. The temperature standardization is set at 60°F (15°C), and each unit is hand inspected by our U.S. quality team. The hydrometers are packaged with a multi-language statement of accuracy (English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish), indicating accuracy that is traceable to NIST. For optimal care, hydrometers should be stored in a clean, dry, safe place and must not be subjected to extreme temperatures.
