Used in the chemistry, pharmacology, food and beverage, and starch industries, these dual scale, plain form hydrometers are designed to accurately measure specific gravity/relative density (g/cm³) of liquids lighter and heavier than water, with measurement ranges from 0.700 to 2.00, and Baumé in ranges from 10° to 70°. Alternatively, a universal model is available to span all ranges. The hydrometers feature a lead-free ballast and glass construction, are individually serialized, and standardize temperature at 60°F (15°C). Each unit is hand inspected by our U.S. quality team and packaged with a multi-language statement of accuracy in English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish, with accuracy traceable to NIST. For optimal performance, hydrometers should be stored in a clean, dry, safe place and must not be subjected to extreme temperatures.
