They read temperatures in liquids, semi-solids, and gases, with 3" to 7.75" probes that easily reach into cuvettes, test tubes, flasks, beakers, and more. The blunt tip probe is ideal for veterinary practices, farms, and ranches, while the surface probe is suitable for cooking, laboratories, and hot plates (probe cover not included). Key features include minimum/maximum temperature readings, alarms, data hold, and water-resistant models. All models come with accredited calibration documentation that meets the requirements of ISO 17025, having been tested and calibrated in H-B's exclusive triple accredited/registered ISO/IEC 17025:2017, A2LA accredited laboratory (cert #2448.01), against calibration traceable to NIST. The kit includes multi-language instructions in English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish, and all units are individually serialized and CE marked. Note that these electronic stem thermometers are not suitable for solids such as frozen items.
