The kit enables remote monitoring and alerts by broadcasting readings to any Apple or Android smartphone or device with Bluetooth 4.0 or better, utilizing the free ThermSmart app. It is available in verification and environmental monitoring models, monitoring critical environments without a physical connection, with a maximum signal distance of approximately 40 meters. It records temperature (B60911-0100) or temperature and humidity (B61506-5100 and B61011-5100) data for 30 days, capturing hourly data for the current seven days, and then maximum and minimum temperatures or temperatures and humidity recorded for the next 23 days. The verification model records accurate temperature readings without sample contamination using a glass bead filled bottle (included) which mimics the sample. An alarm sounds to alert the user if the temperature falls outside of the set parameters. Data can be viewed as a table, graph, or calendar, and data from up to six data loggers can be plotted on one graph for direct comparison, with the option to download the information as a CSV file. Indicators include memory full, active alarm state, and low battery; hygrometer equipped models include WBGT (Wet Bulb Global Temperature), heat, mold, and comfort indices. The app can trigger an indicator light for unit identification. The kit includes a certificate of compliance indicating accuracy for 4 temperature points or 4 temperature and 3 humidity points, along with multi-language (English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish) instructions. The devices are individually serialized, CE marked, and RoHS compliant, and they require 2 AAA batteries, which are included.
