This mercury-free, calibrated thermometer covers a narrow temperature range of 5 to 20°C and is calibrated at 4°C, making it ideal for verifying sample temperatures in blood bank refrigerators. It provides accurate temperature readings without sample contamination, as it includes a filled bottle that mimics the sample. The thermometer features a PFA coating and is constructed with glass that contains liquid in case of breakage; it is filled with EnviroKleen™ certified Enviro-Safe® liquid. The thermometer includes permanently fused markings and is made from lead-free glass. Additionally, it comes with an individual thermometer calibration report that states corrections to one-tenth of the smallest division, includes a unique report number, and specifies the NIST standards used for calibration. Each thermometer is individually serialized and is made in the USA.
