These digital stem thermometers are designed for various applications, including field studies, wet lab usage, food testing, and environments requiring wash down, capable of reading temperatures in liquids, semi-solids, and gases. The probes range from 3" to 7.75", making them suitable for accessing cuvettes, test tubes, flasks, and beakers. Features include a blunt tip probe for veterinary practices and farming, a surface probe for cooking and laboratory use (please note, probe cover is not included), minimum and maximum temperature readings, alarms, data hold options, and water-resistant models. Each thermometer comes with accredited calibration documentation that adheres to ISO 17025 standards, having been tested and calibrated in H-B's exclusive A2LA accredited laboratory (cert #2448.01) with traceable calibration to NIST standards. Multi-language instructions are provided in English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish, and each unit is individually serialized and CE marked. It is important to note that these thermometers are not suitable for use with solids, including frozen items.
