Digital thermometers are designed to verify sample temperatures in freezers, refrigerators, incubators, and ovens, ensuring accurate temperature readings without contamination through the use of a filled bottle, which is included in the kit and serves to mimic the sample. The package includes accredited calibration documentation that complies with ISO 17025 standards, with testing and calibration conducted in H-B's exclusive triple accredited/registered ISO/IEC 17025:2017, A2LA accredited laboratory (Cert #2448.01). The thermometers are calibrated against equipment whose calibration is traceable to NIST and come with multi-language instructions available in English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish. Each unit is individually serialized and CE marked. It should be noted that the plastic bottles specified in the related table are unsuitable for use in ovens, while the included glass bottle and cap should not be used in environments where temperatures may exceed 200°C.
