These mercury-free thermometers are traceable to NIST and cover ranges from -90 to 25°C or -130 to 80°F, making them suitable for verifying sample temperatures in freezers and ultra-low freezers. They provide accurate temperature readings without sample contamination by utilizing the included filled bottle, which mimics the sample. For optimal results, the thermometer should be inserted into the bottle and placed near the samples. The thermometers are composed of organic liquid or EnviroKleen™ certified Enviro-Safe® liquid; they feature permanently fused markings and lead-free glass. Select thermometers come with a PFA coating for added safety, containing glass and liquid in the event of breakage. All units are manufactured and tested by the USA quality team and are individually serialized. The package includes a multi-language statement of accuracy and traceability in English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish. For those requiring an individual thermometer calibration report, factory calibrated thermometers or custom calibration services are also available.
