These mercury-free thermometers are traceable to NIST and cover temperature ranges from -5 to 20°C or 20 to 70°F, making them ideal for verifying sample temperatures in blood bank refrigerators. Accurate temperature readings without sample contamination are achieved through the use of the included filled bottle, which mimics the sample; simply insert the thermometer into the bottle and place it near the samples for optimal results. The thermometers contain either organic liquid or EnviroKlean™ certified Enviro-Safe® liquid and feature permanently fused markings and lead-free glass. Select models include a PFA coating, which safely contains glass and liquid in the event of breakage. Each thermometer is manufactured and tested by our USA quality team and is individually serialized. Additionally, the kit includes a multi-language statement of accuracy and traceability in English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish. For those requiring more specialized services, factory calibrated thermometers or custom calibration services are available.
