These mercury-free thermometers are traceable to NIST and cover temperature ranges from 10 to 50°C or 60 to 120°F, allowing for verification of sample temperature in incubators. The accurate temperature reading without sample contamination is achieved by using the included filled bottle, which mimics the sample. Users can insert the thermometer into the bottle and place it near the samples for optimal results. The thermometers contain organic liquid or EnviroKleen™ certified Enviro-Safe® liquid, feature permanently fused markings, and are made of lead-free glass. Certain models have a PFA coating that safely contains glass and liquid in the event of breakage. Each thermometer is manufactured and tested by our USA quality team and is individually serialized. The kit includes a multi-language statement of accuracy and traceability in English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish. For those requiring it, individual thermometer calibration reports, factory calibrated thermometers, or custom calibration services are also available.
