These mercury-free thermometers are individually calibrated and are useful for verifying sample temperatures in ovens, providing accurate temperature readings without sample contamination. The kit includes a filled bottle that mimics the sample. The PFA coated thermometers are designed to contain glass and liquid in case of breakage and are filled with organic liquid. They feature permanently fused markings and lead-free glass. Each thermometer comes with an individual calibration report that states corrections to one-tenth of the smallest division, includes a unique report number, and references NIST standards used for calibration. The thermometers are individually serialized and made in the USA.
